My dad bought me a huge seven dollar paper for painting with acrylics because he wanted me to paint something for him that he can put in this picture frame. I told him I was just fine with painting something on a one dollar poster bored from the drugstore but he refused. This paper was just incredible though. It didn’t start rolling up and getting unbearable to work with and it was just amazing. This paper sat on my floor for a bit before the idea hit me. I wanted to paint Gallifrey. Of course it didn’t come out exactly like it, no red grass, no citadel, no silver leaves. Just got very inspired by the idea of red skies and went with it. Forgot to throw in the twin suns, but the glare from the light will give you that. I’ll definitely add them in when I decide to pry it out of the frame my dad already put it in.
Also I took this with my phone so the picture quality is just awful. The colors look so much more vibrant and alive in person!

With acrylic painting you can be less finicky about...quality. Certainly more so than if...
